We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and improving our innovative solutions. You’ll work closely with a skilled team to enhance our standard product portfolio and create tailored solutions for our customers. Your advanced knowledge of mechanical design and manufacturing processes will be key to our project goals. In this position, you will report to Engineering Manager.

This position is mainly located in York, PA but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options. There will be 20% travel required for the role.

What you’ll do
  • Innovate and Validate: Understand and verify specifications for new product development, ensuring designs are economical and efficient.
  • Collaborate: Assist internal and external team members throughout the development process.
  • Optimize Performance: Perform advanced calculations to assess and optimize design performance.
  • Problem-Solve: Troubleshoot mechanical issues, perform root cause analysis, and propose effective solutions.
  • Stay Current: Keep up with industry developments by reviewing technical literature, especially on simulation and prototyping.
  • Customer Focus: Maintain a positive approach and build effective relationships with customers, co-workers, and visitors.
Who you are
  • Educational Background: BS in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: 5+ years in a similar role.
  • Skills: Versatility in engineering activities, proficient communication and interpersonal skills, solid computer skills.
  • Attributes: Highly motivated, able to work and meet deadlines, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
