Mechanical Engineer - Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer in the M3/M4 North region for a leading HVAC company with 6 regional offices and over 20 years of experience. They provide comprehensive solutions including installation, service, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of HVAC equipment.

Their client base features long-standing relationships with clients such as David Lloyd Leisure, Vue Cinemas, Cineworld, Tate & Lyle, Radisson Hotels, Hilton, Malmaison, and more.

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for installation, service, maintenance, and attending breakdowns on Pumps, Booster Sets, Pipework, Air Handling Units, etc.

Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary up to £40,000 DOE
• Company Van - Optional Personal Use
• Profit share scheme after 12 months - Up to £3,600 tax-free
• Overtime paid at 1.5x
• 40-hour workweek, travel paid after 30 mins each way
• On-call allowance (1 in 4/5, £1,200 guaranteed - travel paid door to door if called out)

• 22 days' holidays plus bank holidays, increasing to 25 days after 5 years and 30 days after 10 years
• Company uniform, phone, and PDA

Position Requirements

• Commercial Mechanical Engineering experience
• Experience working on Pumps, Booster Sets, AHUs, Pipework, etc.
• Full Driving Licence
• Residence in the M3/M4 North area (Reading, Slough, Bracknell, Kingston, Guildford, etc.)
