Mechanical Engineer - Field Based Role in Aberdeen and Surrounding Areas

Join a leading HGV Auxiliary company as a Mechanical Engineer in the Aberdeen and Dundee regions. This role involves the repair, maintenance, and upgrade of vehicle-mounted discharge systems, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic circuits.

• Basic salary up to £35K with OTE of £40K

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform service and calibration on vehicles under contract within your area
• Conduct repairs, diagnostics, fault finding, and replacements
• Provide customer support both via phone and face-to-face, including liaising with original equipment manufacturers
• Manage your time effectively in coordination with the service team to meet customer needs

This role is suitable for individuals with experience as a heavy plant fitter, HGV technician, PSV technician/bus mechanic, or auto electrician. Full training will be provided before working independently.
