Multiple positions open to work with a leading global design, engineering, and project management consultancy. Our client is looking for a versatile individual with Nuclear / Defence / MOD experience who can lead and deliver a wide range of projects, from major, high-profile programs to specialised consulting, as a Mechanical / Senior Mechanical Engineer.


You bring proven knowledge and experience in:

  • A mechanical engineering degree (or its equivalent) in a related field, as well as a chartership from an appropriate engineering school, or work towards obtaining one.
  • Experience adhering to industry standards and design rules suitable for a safety-critical sector.
  • Experience in creating design documentation, such as reports, calculations, specifications, and papers that encapsulate requirements.
  • Previous experience in a safety-critical industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Encourage the development of the best possible design solutions to meet the needs of the client.
  • Provide supporting calculations to show your designs will function as needed.
  • Write technical papers and keep them up to date.
  • Oversee the completion of your projects in accordance with the time, cost, and quality specifications.
  • Assist our QA process by reviewing or verifying the work of colleagues.
