Mechanical Engineer – Warwickshire - Circa £60k

Our client is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team with world-leading skill and sector experts on design and development projects with global impact. The Mechanical Engineer will help create novel IP, reduce cost and environmental impact, improving manufacturing time and improving performance to create class leading products. Many products made go to market and are highly visible so the Mechanical Engineer will be able to see the products they’ve helped design being successful and improving people’s lives.

As a Mechanical Engineer, Your Role Will Include:
  • Working on a diverse range of projects, e.g. well-known consumer products to safety-critical medical devices
  • Working closely with designers, electronics, software engineers and other skill teams to integrate the visual and functional aspects of a product to create design solutions
  • Take responsibility for your technical work – senior engineers will be available for advice
  • Guide, support and check the work of the more junior members of the engineering team
Experience For This Mechanical Engineer:
  • Enjoy assimilating new information and learn new skills very quickly in a dynamic environment
  • A First or Upper Second Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a University with an engineering reputation, or an equivalent broad-based technical qualification
  • Experience working in a product design or development environment, using Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) tools
  • Must have rights to work in the UK and must be able to work onsite in Warwickshire
  • Experience in low-volume rapid prototyping technologies as well as high-volume processes such as injection molding
