Job description

We're looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer to join the Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks water team based in Wanlip, Leicestershire.

Location: Wanlip, Leicestershire.

Hours: 45 hours per week

What will you be responsible for?

As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you'll support the Severn Trent Water team in the successful mechanical delivery of the Wanlip wastewater treatment works.

Your Day To Day Will Include
  • Authoring technical scopes of work.
  • Undertaking gap analysis on tender submissions.
  • Compiling mechanical design RFIs.
  • Identifying and resolving interface issues within the mechanical D&B packages.
  • Creating digital quality records and red line mark-ups.
What are we looking for?

This role is suitable for you if:

  • You have experience delivering wastewater M&E projects.
  • You are proficient in working with Revit models.
  • You can perform digital mark-ups during design development and redlining upon construction completion.
  • You have knowledge of SWIFTs, HAZOPs, and ALM related to mechanical equipment.
  • You can challenge poor practice and quality within Kier and the supply chain.
