Ganymede Solutions is partnering with a leading Rail Company to recruit an experienced Mechanical Engineer for their growing rolling stock consultancy.

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering engineering solutions to clients in the rolling stock sector, including conventional rail, high speed, light rail, and metro.

• Lead the delivery of major projects and support bid work from technical and commercial perspectives.
• Work directly with clients to deliver solutions related to fleet maintenance, overhaul/modification, obsolescence, reliability, performance, and systems design & build.
• Provide engineering support services such as technical investigations, design support, feasibility studies, RCA, technical specifications, component/system design, and asset improvements.
• Manage multiple projects and lead the technical consultancy within client accounts.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders regarding engineering problems and solutions.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A minimum of a HNC qualification in Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in a technical support or project engineering role.
• Knowledge of Engineering Change Assurance Processes & Documentation.
• Broad understanding of Mechanical Engineering systems in transportation.
