Job description

Our Stafford, TX facility seeks a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team (no relocation package).

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, CAD software, and project management. The Mechanical Engineer will lead design in various R&D, production engineering, and customer project-driven initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Carry out detailed mechanical design work, including 3D modeling, simulation, and design verification testing.
  • Troubleshoot new designs and/or develop reliability improvements for existing designs.
  • Prepare engineering reports, documentation, and technical drawings.
  • Use CAD software to create models and simulations of mechanical components.
  • Make cost and quality-effective decisions on systems.
  • Develop detailed documentation for mechanical and structural products and integrated systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and propose innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical design and engineering.
  • Knowledge in liquids/solids separation, drilling fluid management, waste management, and dewatering processes.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
  • Knowledge and understanding of fundamental solid/liquid separation equipment (centrifuges, shakers, pumps).
  • Problem Solving/Analysis Skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts.
  • Diligent, dynamic, assertive, and resourceful.
