Responsibilities

  • Ensure all PPM is carried out according to maintenance specifications.
  • Complete all relevant paperwork regarding PPM, reactive, and breakdown works.
  • Update the CAFM system in real-time with work completion details.
  • Complete reactive tasks across sites and proactively identify areas for improvement.
  • Address plant faults and defects promptly.
  • Ensure availability of suitable spares for maintenance.

Mechanical Engineer - Static Position

Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00

Salary - 45,000

We're working for one of our biggest clients on a new contract for a well-known American Pharmaceutical & Biotechnical company as a Mechanical Engineer.

Job responsibilities for a Mechanical Engineer:

  • Ensure all PPM is carried out according to maintenance specifications, documented in real-time using the PDA, including start/wait/stop times with comments.
  • Complete all relevant paperwork regarding PPM, reactive, and breakdown works promptly and pass to the contract administrator. Complete supplementary documentation as directed by your line manager.
  • Update the CAFM system in real-time with work completion details and provide descriptions of works undertaken, including any follow-up actions.
  • Complete reactive tasks across sites and proactively identify areas for improvement. Record plant failures with quotation forms and inform your line manager. Record all within the CAFM system.
  • Address plant faults and defects promptly to keep equipment in working order, following delegated authority or client approval.
  • Ensure availability of suitable spares for maintenance and reactive works, providing parts lists and estimated timescales for remedial actions.
