Job description

Connect Appointments are recruiting an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our Kinross-based client.

What's on offer:

  • Full-time permanent position
  • Rotating shifts between days, backs and nights
  • £40,000 to £44,000 per annum

Working as a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring production lines are running to their full potential, as well as:

  • Carrying out maintenance of machinery
  • Following health and safety procedures
  • Completing relevant paperwork
  • 3,6, 12-month servicing of lines
  • Fault diagnosis and repair
  • Working closing with production team to minimise downtime

To be successful in this role you will have previous experience as a Mechanical Engineer, combined with the following skills and traits:

  • Able to follow both written and verbal instructions
  • Be able to understand diagrams and drawings
  • Be able to work on your own and as part of a team
  • Be focused and driven; able to prioritise your workload
