Mechanical Engineer

We are working with a key client, founded in 1960, a leader in the design of high and low-pressure cartridge valves, reducing stations, and manifolds for critical and demanding applications. They are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their business in Oldham.

Key requirements for the Mechanical Engineer:

• Must have over 6 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required
• Experience with Solid Edge software used for 3D modelling is beneficial, but other 3D modelling software will also be considered
• Extensive experience with a variety of materials, predominantly metals
• Proven background in adhering to quality requirements
• Experience with valves is advantageous
• Experience in project management and customer-facing roles is advantageous
• Ability to manage a small team of engineers in the future and transition into a management role
• The role is customer-focused, and experience liaising with external customers is a distinct advantage
