Mechanical Engineer

Are you a mechanically minded engineer with experience working on motors and gearboxes? Are you looking for a new role with a national company, working with a highly skilled team?

Well, we have a great opportunity for a company that have been going for over 50 years and are now looking to further expand the hands on engineering team.

The Role:
  • Carry out repairs, maintenance, and servicing of gearboxes, electric motors, and pumps.
  • Deliver all work within agreed timelines to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Support team objectives by completing related tasks as required.
  • Follow all Health and Safety procedures and company policies.
  • Accurately complete workshop documentation and submit to the Workshop Supervisor or Manager.
  • Record daily activities through completion of timesheets.
  • Be available for call-outs, shift work, or overtime as instructed by the Workshop Supervisor or Manager.
The Candidate:
  • Proven experience within gearboxes, electrical motors and pumps.
  • Computer skills required to basic level.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and PPE.
  • Team player.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Willingness to work outside of normal working hours.
  • Good time keeping skills are essential
