  4. Assist in delivering PUK maintenance strategies and policies, including prescribing equipment-specific routines and procedures.
  5. Monitor maintenance requirements and effectiveness, aiming to minimize mechanical maintenance backlogs and interventions through regular reviews.
  6. Specify, analyze costs, and procure replacement equipment promptly, ensuring compliance with PUK specifications and legislative requirements to minimize breakdowns and outages.
  7. Complete documentation and assurance systems, such as work planning, change management, updating databases, and reporting.
  8. Manage costs by controlling expenditures with vendors and promoting a cost-challenge culture to maximize value from suppliers and contractors.
  9. Utilize electronic maintenance systems such as Maximo.
  10. Conduct Site Assurance Surveys at onshore and offshore sites.
  11. Provide technical training and guidance to Technicians and new recruits.

Requirements:

  • Ideally an engineering degree or HNC/HND with 8-10 years' experience in the oil and gas offshore industry or other highly regulated industries.
  • Operational knowledge of oil and gas mechanical equipment and a sound understanding of engineering, maintenance, and planning.
  • Ability to provide timely guidance on equipment health to predict major costs and outages for planning and budgeting.
  • Diligent, team-oriented, capable of collaborating with colleagues at all levels, and supportive of change.
