Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join a static site in London. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and water systems, ensuring assets operate safely and efficiently.

The role emphasizes safety, reporting, and customer liaison with clients on-site; you'll gain exposure to a variety of equipment, with ongoing training and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in Maintenance or Facilities Management environments.
• City & Guilds Level 2/3 or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety and safe working practices.
• Confident using mobile devices and systems for reporting and job management.
• Team player with a positive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults, complete repairs, and ensure all assets operate efficiently and safely
• Complete inspections, reports, and remedial logs accurately and on time
• Build strong working relationships with clients and respond to queries in a professional manner
• Work safely at all times, following Permit to Work processes and Health & Safety procedures
