The Role:

So, what will you be doing as a Mechanical Engineer?

• Deliver high-quality mechanical maintenance, repairs, and installations with minimal supervision.
• Perform both planned and reactive works on a range of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fabrication.
• Respond promptly to plant breakdowns and provide support during fire evacuations.
• Ensure full compliance with water treatment regulations (including L8).
• Participate in the on-call rota and offer cross-functional assistance to other service lines when required.
• Safely and efficiently maintain and operate mechanical plant equipment.
• Mentor and support Maintenance Assistants, Trainees, and Apprentices to develop their skills.
• Complete necessary training to achieve and maintain Authorised/Competent Person status in disciplines such as HVAC, Pressure Systems, F-Gas, and Water.
• Adhere strictly to all Health & Safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
