An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Engineer to join a leading facilities management team responsible for maintaining a prestigious site in West London. This is a full-time, permanent role offering career development, long-term progression, and great company benefits.
As the Mechanical Engineer, you’ll be working within a small team of skilled engineers to provide planned and reactive maintenance across a variety of mechanical building services systems.
Carry out PPMs and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems including pumps, motors, pipework, heating systems, and AHUs
Monitor and maintain BMS and HVAC plant to ensure smooth operation
Respond promptly to mechanical faults and ensure timely resolution
Assist with the supervision of contractors on-site as required
Maintain accurate records of work carried out and ensure compliance with site health & safety procedures
Participate in site inspections, audits, and reporting where required
NVQ Level 2/3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Strong experience in building services maintenance within a commercial or critical environment
Good knowledge of HVAC plant, water systems, and associated mechanical systems
Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Strong communication and customer service skills
Right to work in the UK
Salary up to £43,000
Monday to Friday, 40-hour week
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
