Are you an analytically minded Engineer, Physicist, or STEM professional looking to step into consultancy?
Do you enjoy tackling complex technical problems and making a real impact on major projects?

We're working with a growing and highly respected engineering consultancy that delivers strategic advice to some of the UK's most critical and high-profile infrastructure and capital investment projects. They help organisations make smarter decisions about how they plan, build and manage physical assets - reducing inefficiency and waste.

Why join?

  • Flexible working - hybrid, remote or from a modern Manchester office

  • Supportive team culture with real opportunities to contribute and develop

  • Work on high-impact projects that influence significant national decisions

  • Comprehensive benefits package including bonus, car allowance, private health care and generous holiday allowance

About the role
As an Engineering Consultant, you'll be:

  • Investigating root causes of inefficiency and technical challenges

  • Using data analysis to support reliability and asset management decisions

  • Presenting insights through graphs, slides and written reports

  • Facilitating workshops and engaging directly with clients

  • Linking engineering analysis to commercial and financial outcomes

What we're looking for:

  • Degree, Master's or PhD in engineering, physics, maths, computer science or another STEM subject

  • Strong analytical mindset and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to explain complex ideas clearly to different audiences

  • Curiosity about how assets are designed, maintained and improved

  • Confident working in a client-facing role and collaborating with different teams

  • UK citizenship (for potential security clearance) and a full UK driving licence

This is an opportunity to move beyond pure engineering into strategic consulting - applying your technical expertise to real-world challenges and helping major organisations make better, evidence-based decisions.
