Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday

Are you a skilled engineer looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer/ Plumber to join a prestigious, Grade 1 listed building in the Soho area. This role offers the unique opportunity to work in an iconic setting while supporting the maintenance and operation of essential building services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform both planned and reactive maintenance across various building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical.
• Ensure all systems are functioning optimally, maintaining the comfort and safety of building occupants.
• Provide proactive maintenance to prevent system breakdowns and service disruptions.
• Respond swiftly and efficiently to emergency repairs, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and building guidelines, particularly within a heritage environment.
• Work collaboratively with the facilities management team to deliver high-quality service.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a multi-skilled engineer, with competence in electrical, mechanical, and building maintenance.
• Heritage experience is highly desirable, as the building is Grade 1 listed.
• Familiarity with maintaining buildings of historical significance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, can-do attitude.
• A valid mechanical qualification (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ).
• Previous experience in a commercial or office building environment is an advantage.
