We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a fast-paced environment. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic plant environment, carrying out general maintenance and fault-finding on a range of equipment, including moulding machines, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, steam boilers, and compressed air systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform general maintenance on moulding machines, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam boilers, and compressed air systems.
  2. Conduct fault-finding and diagnostics to ensure minimal downtime.
  3. Carry out scheduled Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).
  4. Work 2-3 weekends per year as required to support operational needs.
  5. Time-served mechanical engineer with proven hands-on experience.
  6. Strong working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  7. Experience with compressed air systems.
  8. Familiarity with steam boilers (advantageous but not essential).
  9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills.
