Mechanical Engineer - Temp to Perm

Location: Isle of Wight

Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00

Contract: Temp to Perm

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a facilities team supporting police stations across the Isle of Wight. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term stability and the chance to work in a rewarding and secure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance within police stations
• Working closely alongside police officers and staff on a daily basis
• Participating in a 1-in-5 call-out rota (once security vetting is complete)

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2 & 3 or City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering
• A current DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
• Ability to pass NPPV Level 2 vetting
• Full UK driving licence
