Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 or recognized apprenticeship in mechanical engineering.
  • Full UK Driving License required.

  • Complete installation certificates and test reports.
  • Undertake mechanical repairs and modifications on dewatering equipment.

Salary: 15.92 per hour plus overtime and additional Veolia benefits
Hours: 40 hours per week with expectations to stay out when required

Location: Based in Chesterfield but the work will be UK and Ireland based

What you'll be doing;

  • Carry out complex and detailed asset overhauls and replacements
  • Undertake mechanical repairs and modifications dewatering equipment, pumps, pipework, valves and other ancillary equipment
  • Carry out inspections, services and repairs to customers' dewatering assets machines
  • Carry out pipework installations using plastic, stainless steel and mild steel materials and other ancillary equipment
  • Undertake standby cover and overtime as required as well as flexibility to work away from home
  • Complete test reports, installation certificates and customer feedback documents
  • Complete customer paperwork such as permits to work and safety paperwork
  • Working alongside subcontractors and in some situations act as a site supervisor on small to medium projects



What we're looking for;

Essential

  • NVQ or a recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering maintenance at Level 3
  • Full UK Driving License
