NCR Atleos is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for Dundee to lead mechanical design updates on ATM and self-service products. The role requires collaboration with operations, suppliers, and customer services to deliver industry-leading performance and robust packaging and device integration.
The candidate should have a degree in mechanical engineering, strong CAD skills (ProE/Creo, SolidWorks), and experience with product design lifecycle and change management. Global travel may be required.

This challenging position will be responsible for new and existing design updates to ATM and self-service products designed in Dundee. Working closely with operations, suppliers, and customer services input to deliver industry leading performance required of NCR Atleos products used by the Banking Industry. A key requirement is to have previous experience in a mechanical design team, preferably with a keen interest in the design of product packaging & device integration. The successful candidate will have experience of New Product design and lifecycle support of existing products from a mechanical perspective Create mechanical designs, provide estimates, manufacturing options etc. Experience in product design, working with tooling suppliers and parts manufacture. Design of mechanisms experience would be an advantage Proven track record delivering cost effective designs to specification and engineering standards In depth understanding of supplier engagement and change management Collaborate with Engineers from different disciplines to enable system wide integration Plan design validation via design reviews, stress analysis, assembly tolerances, testing and problem correction CLCA Ensure parts / work products are released using the approved system with all relevant documentation required to implement your design change.
