Job description

I'm working with an award-winning nuclear solutions business based in Bristol that is currently recruiting for 12 Mechanical Engineers, broken down as follows:

Positions Available:

1. Senior Mechanical Engineer - £48,000 to £61,500
2. Principal Mechanical Engineer - £61,500 to £80,000

You'll be working on projects in the defence sector such as:

• Submarine decommissioning project - supporting the MoD in developing a submarine decommissioning demonstrator at Rosyth
• Nuclear Technical Support Provider (NTSP) framework - supporting the MoD on a Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) framework to provide specialist nuclear technical services

Main Skills/Experience Required:

• Prior experience in Mechanical Engineering (ESSENTIAL)
• Experience in mechanical/manual handling (ESSENTIAL)
• Nuclear and/or Defence sector experience (NICE TO HAVE)
• Experience with Autodesk Inventor (NICE TO HAVE)
• Mechanical Engineering Degree: BEng or MEng (NICE TO HAVE)
• Chartered Engineer: CEng (NICE TO HAVE)

All roles are hybrid, requiring 3 days per week on-site, and candidates must be eligible for SC Clearance.
