Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
Location: Flexible (Must Be Willing to Travel to Hatfield When Required)
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000+ (DOE) + Van + Fuel Card
Hours: Monday to Friday (Weekend Overtime Available)

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management company, working across a portfolio of commercial properties. This role offers excellent career progression, with the opportunity to move into a leadership position as the engineering team grows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on commercial mechanical plant systems
• Work on communal plant rooms, boiler rooms, and commercial pipework systems
• Service and maintain AHUs, motors, pumps, seals, bearings, valves, and actuators
• Install and service plate heat exchangers, unvented cylinders, calorifiers, and heat pumps
• Diagnose faults and carry out necessary repairs across hot and cold-water services
• Survey works, provide detailed reports, and advise on materials and labour required
• Support long-term project development, including quoting works and managing engineers
• Work overtime on weekends, with at least two Saturdays per month

Requirements:

• Experience working in commercial plant rooms, boiler rooms, and communal heating systems
• Strong knowledge of pumps, motors, valves, actuators, plate heat exchangers, and HVAC systems
• Ability to survey works and provide detailed costings for materials and labour
• Willingness to travel to Hatfield when required
• Full UK driving licence
