We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to join the amazing team at our Linford Block Plant, which is located close to Stanford-le-Hope in Essex. This role is commutable from Barking, Dagenham, East Ham, Rainham, Plaistow, Woolwich, Abbey Wood, Greenwich, Belvedere, Poplar, Stratford, Forest Gate, Greenwich, Deptford, Welling, Sidcup, Erith, Bexley, Bexley Heath, Dartford, Hornchurch, South Ockenden or the surrounding areas we would like to hear from you.
Our Linford Plant manufactures sustainable, tough and energy efficient aerated blocks that we see all around us, whether this be in our homes or our work environments, you are never too far away from one of our products.
As our Mechanical Engineer, your key responsibilities will be executing a maintenance methodology to ensure that mechanical equipment operates at the highest operational efficiency, whilst supporting the vision to implement World Class Maintenance in the Linford operation. You will work closely with the production and maintenance teams to troubleshoot issues, implement improvements, and ensure seamless operation of systems and project engineering work.
Your responsibilities as our Mechanical Engineer will include (not exhaustive):
The successful applicant in the role of Mechanical Engineer will be instrumental in the future development and support of our culture to achieve the benefits available through development strategies. You will have experience working with hydraulic, pneumatics, mechanical gears and bearings, compressed air and associated plant ideally with manufacturing (QA and production), maintenance and operation, repair and site inspection experience.
