Responsibilities

The Role:

Solus MET Technicians play a crucial role in our customers' experience, collaborating with repair consultants and the production team to achieve the best outcomes. Reporting directly to the site Production Lead, our Solus METs are responsible for removing, assessing additional damage, and refitting vehicles to our high standards, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Desirable qualifications and experience include:

• Experience in general production or automotive body repair environment
• Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire your team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work towards group and site key performance measures
• Foster a team-oriented working culture
• Ability to identify causes of issues and blockages disrupting workflow
• Experience with performance reviews and staff development

Additional desirable skills:

• Knowledge of vehicle mechanical and suspension repairs
• ATA MET accreditation
• LCV experience
• Relevant mechanical and suspension qualifications
• Steering geometry alignment and adjustment

• Glazing
• Air conditioning system evacuation and recharge
• Plastic repairs
