Interface Recruitment is assisting an international leader in advanced manufacturing in Bridlington to recruit a Mechanical & Electrical Test Engineer for their North Yorkshire operations. You will ensure top-tier performance and reliability of digital finishing systems, covering mechanical, electronic, and software aspects, with travel across the UK and internationally.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial machine testing - preferably in digital, label, or packaging machinery.
• Strong communication skills for technical presentations, both in-person and remote.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a process-driven attitude.
• Comfortable with occasional travel across the UK and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Execute rigorous testing on digital finishing systems—mechanical, electronic, and software components.
• Own test documentation (sheets, compliance logs) and drive quality standards.
• Support live demos, exhibitions, and factory acceptance tests—both at site and internationally.
• Play a key role during product roll-outs, including newly developed modules like the matrix-stripping unit.
