A large water and wastewater company is seeking an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Technician in Walton-on-Thames. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment to ensure operational efficiency and reduce environmental impact. The role requires NVQ or C&G level 3 in mechanical/electrical engineering and offers a salary up to £45,000, company van, and additional benefits.
We are currently recruiting a Mechanical & Electrical Technician to join our team in the clean water division, based at our Walton on Thames WTW Site.
As a successful candidate, you will use your mechanical & electrical knowledge as well as your experience to inspect, maintain, fault diagnose, test, install, modify or repair mechanical plant and associated electrical equipment, in a safe, efficient, timely and effective manner with minimum supervision, allowing us to ensure that all of our sites remain operational for the benefits of our customers.

Base Location: Walton-on-Thames - KT12 2EG
Working Pattern: 38 hours per week, Monday-Friday 7:30 am - 3:36 pm plus standby rota. Payments and overtime opportunities can increase earning potential by up to a further £8,000-£10,000 per annum upon completion of essential company training.
All PPE, Tools, plus the provision of a van when on duty and on call.
You should be a time-served apprentice with significant experience in mechanical/electrical systems or with NVQ or C&G level 3 in mechanical/electrical engineering.
