Thames Water is recruiting Mechanical & Electrical Technicians for Maple Lodge STW. You will inspect, maintain, fault-diagnose, test, install, modify or repair mechanical and electrical plant with minimal supervision.
Base location is Maple Lodge STW (WD3 9SF). Working pattern is 38 hours, Monday to Friday 7:30 am – 3:36 pm. A driving license and multi-skilled electrical/mechanical experience are essential, with training opportunities and competitive benefits.
We are currently recruiting for Mechanical & Electrical Technicians to join our team at our Maple Lodge Sewage Treatment Works.
As a successful candidate, you will use your mechanical & electrical knowledge as well as your experience to inspect, maintain, fault-diagnose, test, install, modify or repair, as appropriate, mechanical plant and associated electrical equipment, in a safe, efficient, timely and effective manner with minimum supervision, allowing us to ensure that all of our sites remain operational for the benefit of our customers.

Equipment: All PPE, tools, a company van and a fuel card are provided.
You must have previous experience in an electrical apprenticeship, ONC/HNC in engineering, NVQ, or C&G level 3 in Electrical engineering, with an upskill in mechanical NVQ2/3 is crucial.
