Freightliner Limited in Crewe is recruiting a Mechanical & Electrical Fitter to service, maintain and repair locomotives at the Crewe Vehicle Maintenance Facility (CVMF). On your first day you’ll be expected to show safe working practices, prior apprenticeship or time served, and experience in electrical/mechanical maintenance; knowledge of rolling stock would be advantageous.
The role requires adherence to safety standards, precise record-keeping, and efficient fault-finding.

Crewe VMF operates a 24/7 shift roster so a flexible approach to working hours is essential. The shift pattern is 2 days (6am - 6pm) / 2 nights (6pm - 6am) / 4 rest days.
