Job Overview

Are you an experienced technician or engineer seeking a secure role with solid benefits? Have you worked in a manufacturing environment?

Location: Hitchin, Hertfordshire - easily commutable from Luton, Welwyn, Bedford, St Albans, Royston, Stevenage, etc.

This is a full-time, permanent role, working a rotating shift pattern of days 6-3 and afternoons 1-10 on alternating weeks.

Role Responsibilities

You will perform electrical and mechanical repairs, preventative maintenance (PPM), and general upkeep at their manufacturing site. You will also support and oversee external contractors when needed.

If you enjoy understanding how things work and troubleshooting faults, you'll thrive working with diverse machinery and equipment.

Qualifications

Ideally, you will have relevant mechanical and electrical qualifications such as City & Guilds, Apprenticeship, HND, BTEC, 18th Edition, etc.

Experience in food manufacturing or pharmaceutical settings is highly desirable.
