Our client is seeking a Mechanical Designer who will use computer-based tools to design parts and assemblies, create production drawings, and manage BOMs and product configurators. The Mechanical Designer will support the team focused on new product development and will also originate, develop, or modify product designs from conception to finished manufacturing documentation, ensuring quality, manufacturability, functionality, serviceability, and cost considerations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create engineering documentation including SolidWorks models, fabrication, and purchase drawings that conform to client standards.
• Translate engineering and marketing intent into manufacturing-ready 3D layouts, detailed documentation, and Bill of Materials and configurators.
• Collaborate with VAVE/Product Engineers and Production Engineers to provide 3D models and documentation for original designs or modifications of current products.

Top Skills Required:

• Experience in sheet metal design
• Experience with copper tubing
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent CAD tools and strong Excel skills

This position follows a hybrid work model, requiring 2–3 days onsite each week.
