Mechanical Design Job Responsibilities:

Responsibilities
  • Complete 2D and 3D mechanical design drawings, oversee the processes of tooling and fixture outsourcing, fabrication, validation, and acceptance.
  • Guide team members in reviewing technical issues, constructing and modifying technical documentation.
  • Independently complete mechanical design, modifications, and reverse engineering.
  • Ability to create mechanical design drawings and assembly exploded views.
  • Responsible for testing and selecting materials for tooling.
  • Complete tooling testing, assembly, analysis, pilot production review, and improvement corrections.
  • Assist in resolving assembly issues related to mass production products.
  • Responsible for guiding personnel's awareness, discipline, and enhancing their knowledge and skills, while leading the team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical design or Automation.
  • Over 10 years of experience in semiconductor packaging tooling and fixtures, optical module mechanical design; automation experience is a plus.
  • Familiar with optical module processes and practical experience in tooling and fixture design; capable of effectively integrating tooling for device packaging, module assembly, and testing to maximize compatibility.
  • Able to lead the team to complete production component scheduling, planning, and execution of R&D design projects.
  • Responsible and possess a strong quality and cost awareness.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English.
