Mechanical Design Lecturer (Teacher Training)

Salary: £36,000 rising to £39,000 once qualified, with fantastic training, further career progression, 10% private pension, 36 holidays, 3x life insurance, and healthcare cashback. Office based; commutable from Gloucester, Cheltenham, Tewkesbury and surrounding areas.

Are you a Mechanical Engineer with design experience who is an aspiring lecturer and trainer? You will be heavily supported through AET, IQA and CPD qualifications, while gaining full autonomy over your course and opportunities for progression to become a recognised specialist.

This is a rare opportunity to be fully trained in training and to become a go-to recognised training specialist with potential career progression. The company is recognised as an expert in engineering training, with around 50 employees and nearly five decades in business; they are known as the go-to trainers in the South West.

This role will suit a Mechanical Engineer who is aiming to move into the training sector.

The Role

• Supporting, developing and training aspiring mechanical engineers at Level 3 and Level 4 (Apprenticeship and above)
• Working alongside the Tutor and Lecturing teams to support the next generation of engineers
• Full teacher training to become qualified
