Dalkia UK is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Manager to lead the design function across front-end, installation, and operational support. You will provide technical oversight, governance, and risk management to deliver compliant and commercially viable mechanical engineering solutions.

You will drive innovation, value engineering, and cross-functional collaboration with Business Development, Estimating, and Operations to enable successful tendering and project delivery.

Formación

• Experience leading mechanical design teams across agile or stage-gate environments.
• Strong governance experience with design reviews and risk assessments.
• Proven ability to drive value engineering and cost-effective design decisions.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Mechanical Design function across front-end, pre-construction, installation and lifecycle activities.
• Provide technical leadership, governance, and risk management for high-quality, compliant solutions.
• Drive design excellence and ensure alignment between design development and operations.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Estimating, and Commercial teams to identify opportunities and differentiate proposals.
• Mentor and develop team members, manage workload, and support succession planning.
