Join a specialist team at the forefront of advanced defence technology development, focusing on Radio Frequency (RF) Directed Energy Weapons, Lasers, and Stealth. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative programmes supporting military stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead multidisciplinary teams delivering technical work packages in RF Directed Energy, including assessments of electronic and electrical architecture.
2. Analyse and decompose high-level requirements into lower-level subsystem requirements, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
3. Provide technical and managerial leadership, managing budgets and team direction.
4. Identify technical risks and oversee studies on electromagnetic modelling, mechanical design, and component evaluation.
5. Develop testing and evaluation strategies for new technologies.
6. Collaborate with subsystem design authorities to define architectural requirements and approaches.
7. Engage with stakeholders to gather and define requirements for future capabilities and programmes.

Qualifications & Experience

1. Degree-qualified with significant industry experience.
2. Background in electro-mechanical and mechanical design.
3. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build influential relationships.
4. Ability to manage ambiguity and synthesize complex information.
5. Familiarity with Weapon or Missile Systems and emerging weapon technologies.
6. Leadership experience in collaborative teams.
7. Commitment to delivering milestones on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
8. Willingness to undergo Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance.
