Mechanical Engineering in Oxfordshire seeks a Mechanical Designer on a 6-month contract to assist the Wind Tunnel Manager with design work related to the WT infrastructure. The role requires a self-motivated designer capable of working with minimal supervision and liaising with suppliers when needed.

The successful candidate will produce schemes for approval, advance to manufacturing drawings, and must be fully proficient with Unigraphics NX6; Teamcenter experience would be an advantage.

Formación

• Self-motivated mechanical designer with initiative.

We have the need to contract for 6 months a Mechanical Designer for Oxfordshire, to support the Wind Tunnel Manager in completing some design work related to the WT infrastructure.

The position requires a self motivated, experienced, mechanical designer capable of working on their own initiative with minimal supervision. Good communication skills are required as some liaison with suppliers will be necessary. Experience of electro-mechanical systems is also a requirement.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing schemes for approval through to manufacturing drawings. They must be fully proficient with Unigraphics NX6 and experience with Teamcenter would be an advantage.
