Job summary

Executive Integrity Ltd. is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for a hybrid role in Crawley, West Sussex.

You will own mechanical design on large commercial, industrial and district heating schemes, taking concepts through to construction and engaging with clients, architects and contractors. The role offers £50,000 base, share options and a discretionary bonus, plus private healthcare and generous holiday.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years designing mechanical plant on larger-scale building services, heat network or industrial projects.
• Designs taken through RIBA 4 and 5: P&IDs, isometrics, sizing and calculations that hold up on site.
• Working knowledge of heat pumps, boilers, chillers or CHP, and knowledge of CIBSE, BSRIA and CDM.
• Owns a design with a senior engineer close by, not waiting to be told.
• Wants the breadth and pace of a 30-plus person scale-up over one lane in a large firm.

Responsibilities

• Take low‑carbon heat and power systems from concept to construction, pairing solar thermal and PVT with heat pumps, thermal storage and PV.
• Own the mechanical design on large commercial, industrial and district heating schemes that drive revenue.
• Front up to clients, architects and contractors, turning design into signed projects.
• Feed site performance back to the product team, shaping the next generation of the technology.
