Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical design experience in product development.
• Strong grasp of CAD design and assembly drawings.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage complex tolerances.
• Collaborative working with cross-functional teams.
• Solid background in machined and sheet metal components.

Responsibilities

• Design complex mechanical assemblies using SolidWorks and manage files in PDM systems.
• Apply GD&T to ensure fit and function in linear motion systems.
• Produce schematics (DraftSight), BOMs, Change Notes, and Build Instructions.
• Support new product development and ongoing improvements on legacy designs.
• Assist with quality checks, manufacturing processes and design validation with production teams.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and CE marking requirements.
• Provide technical support and participate in customer specification discussions.
• Proficient in 3D/2D CAD: SolidWorks and DraftSight.
• Experience designing machined and sheet metal components and precision assemblies.
• Strong engineering math, tolerance analysis and mechanical principles knowledge.
• Ability to create and interpret detailed technical documentation.
• Collaborative communications with teams and stakeholders.
• Experience with motion control, pneumatics, or semiconductor industry applications.
• Familiarity with Machinery Directive and related product compliance frameworks.
