Job summary

The Cavendish Laboratory at the University of Cambridge is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join Cavendish Engineering. You will provide a consultation, design and manufacture service to our customers, applying a strong mechanical understanding and hands-on capability with EDM, 5‑Axis machining, Milturn and Autodesk Fusion CAD/CAM.

Reporting to the Deputy Head of Cavendish Engineering, you will work with customers at every step of the journey, ensure high-quality CAD/CAM outputs, and

Responsibilities

• Consult, design and manufacture components for Cavendish Engineering clients.
