Qualifications

• Degree, HND or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in a mechanical design engineering role.
• Proficient with Autodesk Inventor for 2D and 3D design.
• Experience with fabricating steelwork, conveyors or similar machinery is advantageous.
• Strong manufacturing knowledge and ability to interpret requirements.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and material handling equipment using Autodesk Inventor.
• Produce detailed 2D drawings and 3D models and create BOMs and specs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, project and engineering teams to meet requirements.
• Review and improve existing products and systems.
• Ensure designs comply with engineering standards and best practices.
• Support full design lifecycle from concept to production.
