Mechanical Design Engineer (Inside IR35)
Location: Near Croydon
Duration: 6 Months
Start Date: ASAP

Our client, based near Croydon, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with strong experience in Creo for an initial 6-month contract. Please note, this role is inside IR35.

Role Overview:
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality, reliable mechanical solutions. The role involves designing and drafting components and assemblies across various Mechanical Engineering and R&D projects. Additionally, you may be asked to perform other tasks within your skillset as assigned by your manager.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Proficient user of Creo 5.0, with hands-on experience in a professional environment within the last 6 months
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in mechanical design
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal, machining, injection molding, vacuum forming, and fabrication processes

Additional Details:

• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (5-day week)
• Overtime and weekend work available at a flat rate
• Creo experience is essential
