1st Step in Ringwood is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design and develop hydraulic and fluid-powered products across the full design cycle. You will play a key role in the design of pioneering equipment and work closely with other departments to meet project goals.

Applicants should have a mechanical design engineering background, experience with hydraulics/pneumatics, and CAD skills. This role offers career progression within a well‑established manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Mechanical design engineering background.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics and/or fluid powered systems.
• CAD experience, any package accepted.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of technical solutions for hydraulic and fluid powered products.
• Involved in all stages of the design process with cross-functional teams.
• Support testing and development to achieve project goals.
