Job summary

A leading automotive manufacturing company is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to develop components for electric hypercars. The role involves creating high-performance designs, conducting simulations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in high-performance vehicle, motorsport, or aerospace engineering.
  • Deep knowledge of lightweight structural design and advanced materials such as composites and titanium.
  • Experience throughout the entire mechanical design lifecycle, including DFM.

Job description

A leading automotive manufacturing company specializing in high-performance vehicles is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer. The successful candidate will develop mechanical components and systems for limited-production electric hypercars, from concept to production.

Responsibilities:
  1. Create and refine high-performance mechanical components using CAD tools such as SolidWorks or CATIA.
  2. Perform mechanical stress assessments and FEA simulations to verify design integrity.
  3. Collaborate with teams across aerodynamics, electronics, and manufacturing for cohesive integration.
  4. Contribute to prototype assembly and support on-track testing and performance validation.
  5. Document engineering processes and assist in scaling from prototype to limited-volume production.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience in high-performance vehicle, motorsport, or aerospace engineering.
  • Proficiency in CAD and FEA software for design and analysis.
  • Deep knowledge of lightweight structural design and advanced materials such as composites and titanium.
  • Experience throughout the entire mechanical design lifecycle, including DFM.
  • Practical mindset with a drive for innovation and creative problem-solving.
