Job summary

TTP plc in Cambridge is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Energy & Process Technologies team. You’ll lead concept development and evolve detailed electromechanical designs using CAD, challenging technical requirements with precision and creative problem solving.

The role involves multi-project delivery, tolerance analysis, prototyping, and collaboration with suppliers to source parts and ensure robust performance of innovative energy and chemical-processing solutions.

Qualifications

• Experienced mechanical designer with strong CAD skills.
• Broad understanding of electromechanical product development and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Concept development and evolution of detailed mechanical designs using CAD.
• Collaborate across teams to meet precise mechanical requirements on complex electromechanical hardware.
