Overview

Mechanical Design Engineer | Dungannon OR Lisburn

Mechanical Design Engineer role based in Dungannon or Lisburn. Full-time permanent position. Salary £35,000 - £45,000 + a healthy bonus + other benefits. Location: Dungannon, Tyrone or Lisburn area after initial induction / training. Role may involve travel to the Dungannon site for commissioning of machinery (after induction), with some days per month on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to full projects from concept through development and design for manufacture.
• Collaborate with an established Design and Development team to deliver robust mechanical designs.
• Support commissioning and site-based activities as required (approx. 2–3 days per month at the Dungannon site).

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years' experience within Mechanical Design Engineering.
• Competency in 3D design tools (SolidWorks, Creo, Solid Edge, Inventor, or similar).
• A relevant 3rd level qualification in an engineering subject is preferred; more years of relatable design experience will be considered.
• Strong communication and people skills.
