Job description

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll find yourself in a dynamic, goal-oriented environment, working with the newest and most innovative technologies in the energy industry. As an entry level Engineer, we will provide you with all the development and guidance to become an expert, with the ability to solve deep technical issues.

Responsibilities
  • Designing and validation of mechanical assemblies / fixturing and enclosures to meet agreed customer and product specifications
  • Developing and releasing of design documentation to ensure verification and quality
  • Participating in FMEA and Process Mapping activities to identify and minimize design risks and optimize design outcome
  • Contributing to longer-term design process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering with proven experience in a mechanical design engineering environment
  • Good knowledge of 3D CAD tools (Solidworks or Pro/Engineer)
  • Ability to produce 2D engineering drawings with the approval & release process
  • Solid design foundation and understanding of traditional manufacturing methods (DFM) with an understanding of GD&T
  • Exposure to working in multiple disciplined (electrical, mechanical) design teams
  • Proven analytical & problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with experience in procedure development
  • Proactive and able to work unsupervised and make sound engineering decisions
