Qualifications

• Expérience en tant qu'ingénieur de conception mécanique avec une expérience dans le design de connecteurs Cryogenic, RF ou Microwave.
• Capacité à utiliser SolidWorks pour créer des composants, des assemblages et des dessins d'ingénierie.

Responsibilities

• Conception de produit, utilisation de SolidWorks pour créer des composants, assemblages, dessins d'ingénierie, prototypage et outillage.
• Assigner des numéros de pièce et des descriptions conformément aux normes d'ingénierie de l'entreprise.
• Créer et maintenir des numéros de pièces et des nomenclatures dans le système ERP E-Max.
• Assister avec l'estimation des coûts et de la main-d'œuvre pour les assemblages de câbles et les composants.
• Fournir un soutien technique à l'équipe de vente et à l'équipe de fabrication.
• Entreprendre des projets d'ingénierie de production en vue de l'amélioration continue et de la réduction des coûts.
• Créer et maintenir la documentation pour les procédures et processus d'ingénierie.

The company has quadrupled its business over the last three years. It is seeking a creative and curious Design Engineer to work with a talented team based in the UK and the USA, offering an interesting and stimulating design role with exceptional career development and training opportunities.

The role:

• Product design, using SolidWorks to create components, assemblies, engineering drawings, prototyping, and tooling




• Assign part numbers and descriptions in accordance with company engineering standards




• Create and maintain part numbers and bills of Materials within E-Max ERP System




• Assist with costing and labour estimation for cable assemblies and components




• Provide technical support for the sales team and the manufacturing team




• Undertake production engineering projects with a view to continuous improvement and cost reduction.




• Create and maintain documentation for engineering procedures and processes

The person:

• Mechanical Design Engineer with Cryogenic/RF/Microwave connector design, or similar experience
