A leading MEP services design consultancy is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to manage design projects in Harrogate. This hybrid position requires substantial experience in mechanical building services and HVAC design. Qualifications

• Proven ability to support managers.
• Substantial experience in HVAC design and calculation.
• Full mechanical design scope knowledge (RIBA stages 1-7).

Responsibilities

• Manage workload and technical standards in engineering.
• Produce fee proposals and monitor project profitability.
• Lead design of mechanical services including drawings and specifications.
• Conduct design reviews and participate in project handover.
• Provide technical presentations to clients and staff.
