Job description

Your new company
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading institution known for its innovative and energy-centric building services. The team is dedicated to providing creative solutions to complex engineering and design challenges within buildings.

Your new role

  1. Understand and execute design tasks.
  2. Perform design calculations and develop proposals at various stages.
  3. Liaise with clients, design team members, suppliers, and contractors.
  4. Prepare tender documentation and drawings using AutoCAD.
  5. Utilise Revit/BIM for design and conduct site surveys/inspections.
  6. Prepare reports and comply with QA and other procedures.
  7. Provide guidance to junior engineers and draughtspeople.

What you'll need to succeed

  1. Post-qualification experience in mechanical building engineering services design.
  2. Membership in CIBSE, The Institute of Mechanical Engineers, or The Institute of Engineering and Technology.
  3. Proficiency in AutoCAD, HevaComp, and Amtech suite of calculations.
  4. Computer literacy and experience with computer-aided design calculation procedures.
